Delete your account
You can delete your Pimble account yourself at any time. Your profile, photos, clips, friends and conversations then disappear immediately and for good.
In the app
The app is in Dutch; the button names are shown as they appear, with a translation.
- Open Pimble and tap your own photo at the bottom (the Jij tab, “You”).
- Tap Instellingen (Settings), or the gear icon at the top right.
- Under Account, tap Account verwijderen (Delete account).
- Read what will disappear, type in the code you see and confirm. Your account is gone immediately.
Want to keep your data? Download it first: Instellingen → Mijn gegevens downloaden (Download my data). If your account is suspended, downloading and deleting are on the screen you see instead.
Here on the website
- Sign in with the Google account you use for Pimble.
- Check that the right account is shown.
- Choose Delete account and confirm. Your account is gone immediately.
Signing in on this page never creates a new account. If there’s no Pimble account for your Google account, you’ll see that, and nothing else happens.

Delete account
Sign in with the Google account you use for Pimble.
Can’t sign in with Google in this browser? Delete your account in the app instead, or email us (see below).
We never create an account here. Your session only lives in this page’s memory, and we sign you out afterwards.
If you delete your account, your profile, photos, clips, friends and conversations disappear immediately. This can’t be undone.
Are you sure?
This cannot be undone. This disappears immediately and for good:
- your profile, photos and clips
- your friends and all your conversations, also for your friends
- who you chose, saved and blocked
- your settings and your Pimble Plus in the app
Your account has been deleted
Your profile, photos, clips, friends and conversations are gone, and you’ve been signed out everywhere. Thanks for using Pimble.
You had Pimble Plus. Cancel your subscription in the Play Store if you haven’t already.
Go to the home pageYou’ve been signed out. Nothing has changed in your account.
What disappears
Immediately, as soon as you confirm:
- Your account and profile: name, date of birth, gender, bio, interests, place and location, preferences and settings.
- All your photos and clips. The files themselves are gone immediately, including the blurred versions.
- Your friends and all your conversations. They also disappear for your friends.
- Who you chose, skipped, starred, brought back or blocked.
- Reports about you, messages from Pimble to you and your appeals.
- Your Pimble Plus in the app, and any parental consent statement.
- All your sign-in sessions and notification tokens: you’re signed out on every phone.
What stays for a while
| What | How long, and why |
|---|---|
| Server backups | At most 7 days. After that the backup has been overwritten. We only use backups to restore the service after an outage. |
| Moderation decisions about you | For example a rejected photo or a suspension. The decision stays, but without any link to your account, until it expires: 6 months after it became final, so without an appeal 12 months after the decision. That way we can still account for what was decided. We don’t keep the photo itself. |
| After a suspension | A digital fingerprint of your Google address and Google account ID, from which your address can’t be read back. It stops you from making a new account with the same Google account. For a suspension without an end date 2 years, for a temporary one until it ends. |
| Reports you made | Stay without your name, so the review can be completed. |
| Your Google Play subscription | Does not stop by itself. Cancel it in the Play Store. Google keeps the purchase details itself, under Google’s policy. |
| Crash reports | Up to 90 days at Google (Firebase Crashlytics). They contain no name, email address or account ID. |
Your Google account itself stays as it is. To also remove Pimble’s connection there, go to Third-party apps and services in your Google account.
Not working?
No longer have access to the app or your Google account? Email info@kleijersolutions.nl from the email address of your Pimble account, with the subject ‘Delete account’. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours. We delete it within one month, usually much sooner, and send you a confirmation.
Only want to remove individual photos, clips or your bio? See delete data. More about your data is in the privacy policy.
