Make friends right where you are
Pimble helps you discover new people in your area. See who someone is through photos, clips and interests. When you both choose each other, the conversation begins. Not a dating app: just friends.
From ‘hi’ to friends
Pimble is made for one thing: getting to know people near you as friends. No timeline, no followers, no likes from strangers.
-

People nearby
You see a few people at a time from your area, within the distance you choose.
-

Photos, clips and interests
A profile is more than one photo: a short clip, a few lines about yourself and what you get excited about.
-

A match
If you choose someone and they choose you too, it’s a match. Nobody can just message you out of the blue.
-

Chat
With a match you can chat. Get to know each other at your own pace, in the app.
Safe by default
Pimble also has 16- and 17-year-olds. That’s why the rules are strict, and they live on the server itself, not in a setting you might switch off by accident.
-
Ages 16 and up
Pimble is for everyone aged 16 and over. Under 16? Then you can’t create an account.
-
Separate age groups
If you’re 16 or 17, you only see other 16- and 17-year-olds, and only they see you. Adults never see minors.
-
Every photo is reviewed first
A new photo or clip isn’t visible to anyone until it has been reviewed. Only then does it appear on your profile for others.
-
Report and block
From any profile and any conversation. Blocking works instantly and both ways: you no longer see each other.
-
Your town, not your address
Others see which town you’re in, never where you live. Your email address is never on your profile.
-
Your data, your call
Download everything Pimble keeps about you, or delete your account. In the app, and here on the website too.
Pimble is not a dating app. It’s an app for making friends. What you do together outside the app is up to you: Pimble doesn’t organise meetups and isn’t a party to them.
Clear about what happens
What Pimble keeps, why, and how to remove it.
Almost ready to wave
Pimble is coming soon to Google Play, starting in the Netherlands. There’s no iPhone version yet.
